We started following and sure enough, you had posted about this guy who was still looking for his family. Fitz has been the goofiest dog I’ve ever encountered- he’s playful, cuddly, and loves his people. Fitz is very particular about the people he interacts with, but he loves every dog he meets. He’s so energetic, but also loves to lounge and be sweet. He’s been the best with our son, Eli, and just follows us around everywhere! The best addition to our family 🐾” Angela K.

Such a big lover!! Our girl Mabel is a Fantastic dog and can’t recommend this family more. Kids all ages, other dogs and all types of people, she is so sweet. Loves rafting, fishing and lounging with the kids. Highly recommend!!

I’ve decided to write this as a huge thank you to Tanner at Montana Berners. Let me explain, I got a wonderful puppy named Apollo, and because of the misstatements of a previous trainer, it was put on hold for a few days, to Tanners credit he didn’t believe her, bc him and I had been having regular conversations for weeks, and also to Tanners credit, he didn’t just cancel the sale he had the wherewithal to call me and talk to me about what was said and we had a lengthy conversation and at the end of the conversation he gave me the delivery date, and I now have this wonderful puppy who is a joy in my life, and I owe it all to Tanner and his ability to say uhm this just doesn’t seem right… so thank you , beautiful this is the best dog… me and Apollo thank you for having the courage of your convictions to call and tell me what had transpired, I won’t list the trainers name or what exactly was said, the only thing I’ll say about it is that they were some pretty awful and despicable things that is all I’ll say because it is not important what was said or who the person was that said them, it’s in the past and all that matters is me. This shows how smart he is. Yesterday he was playing with one of his toys ( it’s a cloth box about 3”x3” and he loves it when he chews on it, it makes a sound like crumpling wrapping paper) well he was chewing on it and all of a sudden he yelped and I immediately said are you ok? And he backed away from the toy, and I said come here let daddy see, and he gingerly picked up the toy and brought it to me, and I checked it over looking for any sharp corners or anything ( which I didn’t think I would find any because it is made of cloth but, I had to check) when I checked and said it’s ok, he took it and ran to his bed he was so happy! This dog has tons of personality and he doesn’t ever growl n he doesn’t bark unless he’s asleep lol! He’s just content to lay at my feet and when he does he has to have some part of him touching me. He just loves to play , I’ve had dogs my whole life and I’m 64, he’s the first puppy that I’ve had that after having him for 1 month he’s 85% house broken, he’s just 4 months old and when he has to go outside he will come sit in front of me and look at me and look at the door… he’s so sweet and cute, but when he’s mad at you he’ll plop his butt down look at you and then slowly turn his head away, but bring out a treat and it’s like ok he’s got food… or if we’re in the house and you tell him No! He’ll pick up his favorite toy and go lay on his bed with his butt facing you and then he puts his head facing the corner, always makes me chuckle…he’s very friendly and such a happy dog… Apollo and I are happy and we go for walks. I highly recommend Montana Berners, they are truly awesome people…

We fortunately came across Montana Berners, owned and operated by Tanner and Victoria Young. This is the second Bernedoodle we've purchased and their breeding facilities are far and away better than the other facility where we bought our first Bernedoodle. I won't mention any names, but they are on the internet and, again, compared to them, Tanner and Victoria's breeding facility is fantastic. Their facilities were clean, and all the dogs were friendly and well-socialized.

They were very professional and really catered to our needs. I am in a customer oriented business myself, and they treated me and my wife like we were their only customers. They treated us the way I like to treat my customers. We went back to their facility at least 4 times before we finally picked out our new puppy. They were always very accommodating and very helpful in directing us to the right puppy for us based on what we expressed to them we were looking for in a puppy. We picked out a puppy that was more Bernese looking than Poodle, and was unfurnished.

Finally, they arranged all the transportation for us and it all worked out very smoothly, easily, and with no complications. My wife and I can't wait to show Tanner and Victoria pictures as our puppy grows older. I can't recommend Montana Berners enough.

We picked up our Willson a couple of weeks ago and we are in love. Montana Berners were amazing to work with. I had followed Montana Berners on social media for about a year before driving from Phoenix to Montana to pick up our pup Lucy. She was from the Miso and Hero litter in March 2023, she’s a tricolor, Furnished F1b Reverse. we get her groomed regularly, shedding is minimal now that her adult coat is in.
She’s very loving and eager to please, and is very gentle with our grandkids. My experience with the breeder was seamless, it was apparent that Lucy was well socialized and loved prior to her joining our family.

Awesome responsible breeders! We absolutely loved the communication and information we were provided by all staff as we made the decision to purchase our puppy. Of all the breeders I spoke to, the Young family was the sweetest and most professional family of breeders we found. It was a long wait for our precious Bernedoodle….but well worth it. You will not be sorry as your baby will be the healthiest and sweetest member of your family. We have 5 doodles with the addition of our baby Emilia (now 8 months). Our oldest being 12 yrs. I would more than gladly recommend Montana Berners to anyone looking for a quality Bernese Mountain dog or Bernedoodle. I originally was searching for a Montana breeder of Bernese Mountain dogs and a responsible breeder. The latter being of a bigger priority to me. Health checks and clear test results were a major quality I was looking for. In my search and discovery of Montana Berners I learned about the Bernedoodles and began to gravitate towards them. In the end I chose a Reverse Bernedoodle and couldn’t be any happier with my choice. He is a wonderful, well-adjusted, smart, alert, sociable, active, healthy, loving pup who learns quickly. All around great breeds of dogs and made that much more special by the love and devotion that Tanner, Victoria and family put into each of them. Was an honor to work with them and to be blessed with such a wonderful puppy! If you are searching for breeders who are breeding dogs with sound temperaments and genetics combined with breeders who spare no expense for vet care, quality feed and supplements, and supply them with endless amounts of love. Montana Berners is an outstanding choice.
